Dr. Michael Hack, is Vice-President of Business Development at Universal Display Corporation. He is responsible for developing and commercializing advanced high efficiency next generation OLED products, with a special focus on flexible display applications and solid-state lighting. Prior to joining UDC in 1999, he was associated with dpiX, a Xerox Company, where he was responsible for manufacturing flat panel displays and digital medical imaging products based on amorphous silicon TFT technology. Dr. Hack received his Ph. D. degree from Cambridge University, England in 1981 and in 2007 Dr. Hack was elected a Fellow of the Society for Information Display. In 2014 Dr. Hack was nominated to serve on the board of the U.S. OLED Lighting Coalition to promote the advancement and commercialization of OLED lighting.
Neetu Chopra has been working in the OLED display field for the last 14+ years. She currently works at Apple as an Emerging Display Technologist. Before Apple she worked at Kateeva for six years where she helped to commercialize TFE inkjet printing for AMOLED displays and led the team for pixel printing for displays. In her role she extensively collaborated with display manufacturers as well as material vendors to execute DEMOs as well as evaluate new materials/applications for inkjet technology. Before Kateeva she worked at Plextronics where she was part of the device team establishing test vehicles and methodologies for qualifying OLED materials. Dr. Chopra holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology from Delhi College of Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville. She is active in display community as a committee member of the Society of Information Displays (SID) and OLED association.
Dr. Sundaram (Kris) Krishnamurthy is a globally recognized scientist and executive, with extensive experience in the Management of Technology and Business. He has over 30 years of experience in leading diverse technical organizations to deliver in material research and development, intellectual property, and business. He is a strategic advisor for global corporations for Technology and Business. He serves on the Advisory Committee of OLED World Summit.
During his successful career at Eastman Kodak Company for over 30 years, Krishnamurthy led organizations that consistently delivered highly innovative and successful products and was responsible for several hundreds of granted US Patents. In the most recent role before retirement, he served as the Director of R&D for OLED Materials, where he was responsible for starting an active OLED Material R&D program from the ground, integrating research, commercialization, and intellectual property. The program blossomed into highly profitable OLED Material business. Prior to this he held a variety of executive leadership positions at Kodak, in photographic imaging materials area including Senior Research Laboratory Head for Imaging Materials, Chairman of the Corporate Chemistry Council to oversee the world-wide material chain from R&D to manufacturing along with support functions. He managed several collaborative programs with external companies and was a key member of IP committee.
Jang Jin Yoo is currently research fellow at LG Display. He received his BS and MS in chemistry and physics at Sogang University, Korea, in 1993 and 1996. He also studied color science at Leeds University, UK, for his PhD. He has more than 25 years of research experience in display technologies and display picture quality. Specialty areas include picture quality evaluation, enhancement and display standardization in IEC, ICDM, VESA, UHDA etc.
Dr. Soojin Park is Vice-President currently working at Samsung Display Co. Her expertise is OLED material and device architecture development for mobile and large size panels with more than 20 years in OLED display industry. Soojin received her Ph.D in quantum chemistry from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science Technology (KAIST) and her MBA from the Sloan Fellows Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
