Q1. You will share the topic “Smart design strategy for display materials in the era of digital chemistry” this year. Can you give us a snapshot of what delegates will hear?
The work I present delves into the latest examples of the digital chemistry strategy by Schrödinger closely integrated with the development of new display materials. I will showcase how smart integrations between molecular modeling, workflow automation, and informatics technologies can transform the way we interact with chemical and device information for novel display solutions.
Q2. What do you think are the key challenges facing the industry in 2023 and 2024?
With the fast-paced product life cycle of today's display industry, the importance of smart design strategies for display materials has never been greater. We expect the industry will face unprecedented opportunities and challenges for materials R&D with physics-based property predictions, large-scale data generation, and real-time analysis of chemical models.
Q3. Why do you feel it's important for people to attend the Forum this year?
In the era of digital chemistry, where the latest computer technologies and chemical sciences converge quickly, what separates success from failure is whether or not you take advantage of the latest innovative ideas from the thought leaders by actively communicating with them in person. I believe the forum is well-positioned to provide such an opportunity.
